Unfortunately I couldn't rack up any Michelin stars this time around. Everything was full and I was with my family.

Did eat some awesome food though. China Live in Chinatown is like the Chinese version of Mario Batali's Eataly, really cool stuff. Had some pretty good Korean food, lots of dim sum, and great wedding food. Of course, lots of wine. Oh and had Lamb Meatballs & Curry Spaghetti at a restaurant in Sonoma, probably the best Spaghetti (on par with Arancino's Uni Spaghetti) I've ever had.

Only toured the lower/middle parts of Sonoma Valley/County bc the wedding venue and hotel was in the area. Wish I could have went further up into the valley towards Santa Rosa/Healdsburg where all the big name wineries were, or into Napa. My dad kept saying Napa was way nicer than Sonoma and it annoyed the fuk out of me bc he said it at least 20 times and we're stuck in friggin lower Sonoma.

Ledson Winery. Absolutely beautiful estate. (all google images, I snapchatted everything but didn't actually save the photos to my phone)

Chateau St Jean. Did a Reserve Wine Tasting here. Seriously considered buying a few bottles to ship back to NE.

Wedding was at Madrone Estate. outdoor ceremony with no shade in 97 degrees... god damn it was hot. At least it was only 16% humidity.
Have a decent pic of myself at the wedding but I don't like posting pics of myself online anymore for obvious reasons.

Farmer's market has some real good stuff this time of year, and for cheap too.

Watched the first 6 rounds before I went out.

How that judge gave 10 rounds to Canelo is beyond me. I would have scored it 3-3 in the first 6 rounds I watched. Even hardcore Canelo fans were like wtf.

Adelaide Byrd, the judge, has a long history of questionable judging decisions and just got suspended by the NSAC.

Canelo/GGG was supposed to be good for boxing and be the rebirth of it. Adelaide Byrd singlehandedly destroyed it

I have a hard time scoring boxing but i thought it was close. Canelo looked good early but i thought ggg edged it in the end.

most people agreed that if it went to the cards that canelo would not lose in vegas. so i expected some controversy, but yeah that judge is the reason people hate boxing

What's the key to making good kim chee fried rice? I can never get mine to be like korean restaurant style...

You need sour kim chee as it is much more tasty. Then you have to fry it first, then add everything else in. You also need good kim chee, but I don't know if you can find that in NE.

Asian market near me sells some good stuff, been eating it with rice and chicken.

I prefer fresher kimchee over opened-for-a-week-sour tbh

Fresh kim chee really has no taste. The sourness is what gives it the taste in fried rice, pajun, chige..., but frying it really brings out the taste.
